UK Mortgages Hub
Every mortgage calculator, rate explainer and remortgage guide. UK-focused, 2026-current, written for buyers and homeowners not for brokers.
Which mortgage tool answers your question?
- "How much can I borrow?" Start with the affordability calculator, then check the result against a rate rise with the stress test. Lenders must take likely future rate rises into account under the FCA's affordability rules, so it is worth seeing the higher payment before you apply.
- "What will it cost each month?" The repayment calculator shows capital-and-interest and interest-only payments for any loan, rate and term. The interest calculator shows the total interest over the term.
- "Is my deposit big enough for a better rate?" The LTV calculator shows your loan-to-value band and how far you are from the next one.
- "My fixed rate is ending." Compare a new deal against the fees with the remortgage savings calculator. Check any early repayment charge first with the ERC calculator.
The calculators are illustrations, not offers. Any rate you enter is an assumption, and lenders apply their own criteria. For advice on a specific mortgage, speak to an FCA-authorised broker.
