Contact us

We aim to respond to every genuine enquiry within 5 UK working days.

General enquiries

For general questions about the calculators, guides, or the site itself, please email contact@dutycalculatorstamp.co.uk. We typically respond within 3-5 UK working days. High-volume periods (post-Budget, tax year-end) may extend this to 7-10 working days.

Editorial and corrections

Spot an error in a guide? A rate that no longer matches HMRC? A worked example that doesn't add up? Email corrections@dutycalculatorstamp.co.uk with the URL of the page and the specific issue. We investigate every correction within 5 UK working days and, if warranted, update the page, refresh the "Last reviewed" date, and log the correction internally.

For editorial enquiries — press mentions, expert contributions, or guest posts — contact editor@dutycalculatorstamp.co.uk. Guest posts must meet our editorial standards and cannot be purchased sponsored content.

Partnership and commercial enquiries

For commercial partnerships (data feeds, calculator embeds, affiliate partnerships that meet our editorial standards), email partnerships@dutycalculatorstamp.co.uk. All commercial arrangements are disclosed in accordance with the CMA guidance on affiliate marketing and the ASA's guidance on native advertising.

Privacy and data-protection enquiries

For questions about the personal data we hold, subject access requests (SARs), or GDPR-related concerns, email privacy@dutycalculatorstamp.co.uk. We respond to SARs within one calendar month, in line with the UK GDPR. Read our privacy policy for full details of the personal data we collect and how it is processed.

What we cannot help with

Stamp Duty Calculator is an editorial site publishing free UK property finance guidance. We are not a regulated financial advisor, mortgage broker, conveyancer or accountant. We cannot:

  • Provide personal financial or tax advice on your specific transaction
  • File your SDLT return with HMRC on your behalf
  • Recommend a specific conveyancer, mortgage broker or lender
  • Confirm the SDLT figure due on your specific purchase — that is your conveyancer's responsibility
  • Intervene in a live property transaction dispute

For personalised advice, please consult a solicitor or licensed conveyancer (SRA or CLC regulated), a qualified mortgage broker (FCA regulated), or an accountant (ICAEW, ACCA or CIOT member firm).
